Between the 3rd July and 8th July 2011 a group of intrepid walkers from Hanson UK and the Royal Bank Of Scotland Preston, will set out on a 365 mile non stop walk to raise money for the "British Limbless Ex Service Men`s Association" (BLESMA).
They will start from Hanson Cement works in Clitheroe (Lancashire). The walk will take them to sister works at Ketton (near Peterborough) and Padeswood (North Wales), before returning back to Clitheroe. For the full route see the route tab on the left of this page.
It will take 5 days in total and will be walked in relays by pairs of walkers. Each pair will walk for 9 miles, which will take 3 hours before handing over to the next pair. They will then rest for 15 hours before starting their next 9 mile stint.
